ExCeL London And London 2012 Launch Olympic Street Dressing Campaign

London 2012 will launch the first stage of it's street dressing campaign aimed at raising the visibility and profile of London's bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games on Friday 18th June.

Chairman Sebastian Coe and Vice Chairman Barbara Cassani will unveil a series of flags when they visit ExCeL London, London's Exhibition and Convention Centre, to discuss plans for its use as the proposed venue for boxing, judo, taekwondo, wrestling and weightlifting.

They will be joined by ExCeL London chief Executive Jamie Buchan, and athletes representing the sports that will be held at ExCeL London in 2012 in raising the flags which will display London's 2012 Candidate City logo featuring the Olympic rings and the words 'Back the Bid'.

Other street dressing items, such as building wraps, an extension of the 'Leap for London' poster campaign featuring athletes jumping over iconic London venues, the distribution of thousands of posters and car stickers throughout the city at sporting and other events will be revealed over the next few weeks.
