- Overview
Following the completion of the phase two extension at ExCeL London in May 2010, the organisers of the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show, National Boat Shows was able to undertake a redesign of the show to utilise the new space available. As part of the redesign the full 15 metre height of the ICC Auditorium was used to create a dry dock marina, housing boats of all sizes including those too large to have previously been able to fit inside the venue. In the ICC Capital Hall a 70m x 30m Watersports Action Pool was installed with a 816 capacity seating arena. The Royal Victoria dock was also used to house large new boats and a used boat marina. The flexibility of ExCeL London's new space combined with the existing indoor and outdoor space proved the ideal location for the event enabling exhibitors to showcase both large and small boats and visitors to be able to move around the venue with ease.
- Future
The Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show will return to ExCeL London in January 2012. National Boat Shows will be further expanding the content to make it an even better day out for their visitors.
